"The ViArt committee and the CAL organize every two years an Art Students’ Biennale. The exhibition is open to the different forms of expression in the plastic arts, all techniques included, with no discrimination between aesthetic trends and movements, provided that the works meet the criteria of artistic quality, research, innovation and originality.
All artists enrolled in an art academy / school (or have been until recent) may present works for inclusion in the Biennale. An artist may present a maximum of 3 works. ​ Participation is conditional on the decision of a selection board, appointed each year by the committee. No member of the selection board may present works for exhibition. The selection board works in total independence. Its meetings are not public, its deliberations are secret; its decisions are not subject to appeal.
A catalog will be published after the show and will be avalable at the "Salon du CAL" in November. A participation at the "Salon du CAL" or a solo exhibition at the Veiner Konstgalerie will be offered to those participants chosen by the jury."
